Halloween mania ~

« Adoro la notte di Halloween,
la luna piena e i licantropi,

lupo cattivo e cadaveri,
il sangue sul fianco dei cameri,
topi volanti e mostri mutanti avete davanti. »
Doctor Weed - Grido.

« I love the Halloween night, the full moon, the werewolves,
the life, the death, the case, the faith,
jeer the greedy, bad wolf and corpses,
the blood on the hips of the Cameri,
you have in front of you flying mice and mutant monsters.»
Doctor Weed - Grido.

Halloween is a festivity.
It is celebrated expecially in the USA, even if in the last years it swiped also in our habits, but Hallowe'en is a really old festivity, that refers to the ancient traditions of celtic and anglo-saxon culture. The story of Halloween starts centuries ago, in France, in England, in Ireland, in Scotland, all under celtic influence, subsequently decayed under Roman power.
There are different theories about the origin of this festivity, for example, according to two scholar of the late '800, Rhŷs e Frazer, Halloween came from Samhain, a festivity celebrate on the 31st of October and followed by the first day of the new year, the 1st of November. However, like anybody who has studied philosophy or history knows, "who came after" always contradicts "who came before", everything is constantly questioned and, now, we arrived at the point where Halloween is just a consumistic party, that could lasts also whole weekend and everybody can have fun wearing a mask, throwing his inhibitions - most of the time - with the excuse that " it's Halloween and bad taste don't exist"-

At any rate, I love it.
I love dressing up, going through the city with my crazy friends and, for a night, forgot who we are, where we live, our job and just became zombies, werewolves, vampires, witches and whoever fantasy leads us to be. Some advices: it is not necessary buying specific make up, costumes or extravagant accessorizes! Make up for Halloween could be a really long and complicated work, but also simply and quick! So, I collected some pictures to gave you some ideas for your make up, manicure, etc.
