Anche quest'anno è arrivata la settimana della mia manifestazione meneghina preferita!
La Design Week, dove il piatto forte è composto dal Salone del Mobile a Rho Fiera e gli splendidi contorni sono i Fuori Salone disseminati per tutta la città.
Purtroppo quest'anno non ho potuto fare la mia full immersion di sette giorni su sette, purtroppo e per fortuna dato che ho vissuto una magica esperienza turca! Ma prima di parlarvi della splendida Istanbul, ecco il reportage della giornata passata fra Salone del Mobile e Fuori Salone di Zona Tortona.
Del Salone ho apprezzato molto la parte "classica" - cosa che non avrei mai pensato - quella moderna era troppo ... pretenziosa? I designer si credevano i nuovi Michelangelo del nostro secolo, fare fotografie era impossibile e la freddezza degli espositori era non solo disarmante, ma francamente sconfortante. Vorrei sottolineare che a parte due o tre progetti davvero splendidi e innovativi che ho avuto il piacere di vedere - dove fra l'altro mi è stato permesso di fare foto a profusione - non ho visto nessun pezzo da strapparsi i capelli a mazzi dalla gioia e gridare al nuovo Leonardo Da Vinci! Quindi, miei cari artistoidi, volate un po' più basso e magari trattate meglio possibili compratori e poveracci che, come me, potrebbero farvi pubblicità gratuita.

Il Fuori Salone è stato entusiasmante e divertentissimo, come sempre!
Le istallazioni luminose sono da sempre le mie preferite, ma devo dire che il padiglione svedese con tanto di Ice Bar and Ice Party, è stato il più bello! Ci siamo divertite tantissimo, seppur vi assicuro che per quanto pittoresco sia bere un potentissimo alcolico scandinavo dentro un bicchiere di ghiaccio, è assai difficile - scivola! - scomodo e doloroso! Dopo un po' avevo i polpastrelli insensibili, totalmente ghiacciati. Ma che risate!
And finaly, also this year, the week of my favorite Milanese event has came!!
The Design Week, where the main dish is made from the Milan "Salone del Mobile" in Rho and the beautiful contours are the "Fuori Salone" scattered throughout the city.
Unfortunately this year I could not do my seven days a week full immersion, unfortunately and fortunately since I lived a magical Turkish experience! But before I tell you about the wonderful Istanbul, here is the reportage of the day spent at the Salone del Mobile and Fuori Salone in Tortona zone.
I really enjoyed the "classic" part - something that I never thought - the modern one was too... pretentious? The designers believed they are the new Michelangelo of our century, it was impossible to take photographs and the coldness of exhibitors was not only disarming, but frankly disheartening. I would like to point out that apart from two or three really beautiful and innovative projects that I have had the pleasure of seeing - where among other things I was allowed to take pictures in abundance - I have not seen any piece to tear my hair in bunches with joy and shout to the new Leonardo Da Vinci! So, my dear artsy, fly a bit lower and perhaps better treated prospective buyers and poor people who, like me, might make you free advertising.

The Fuori Salone was exciting and fun, as always!
The light installations have always been my favorite, but I have to say that the Swedish pavilion with lots of Ice Bar and Ice Party was the most handsome! We had so much fun, though I assure you that no matter how picturesque is a powerful alcoholic Scadinavian drink in a glass of ice, it is very difficult - slips! - uncomfortable and painful! After a while my fingertips numb was totally frozen. But what a fun!
