Questa mattina mi sono svegliata e come sempre ho acceso il cellulare.
La prima applicazione che mi si è aggiornata è stata Twitter; il twit cinguettante che mi ha dato il buongiorno è stato: Jared Leto: "Me. @McConaughey. Thank you. #oscars #DallasBuyersClub". Ho pianto. Ho pianto guardando il video della consegna dell'Oscar: Jared sembrava incredulo, ma lui è un grande attore e gli echelon, chi lo segue come me, sa che un po' falso modesto lo è. Ma le sue parole, mentre ringraziava la grande donna che è sua madre e il grande uomo che è suo fratello maggiore, erano vere. Ed erano parole bellissime. Vi linkerò il video più in basso.Consiglio, fra l'altro, la visione di Dallas Buyers Club: il regista è riuscito a rendere scorrevole e assai piacevole un film che affronta tematiche particolarmente pesanti, come l'HIV, l'AIDS, l'omosessualità negli anni '80 in Texas. Un geniale Jean-Marc Vallée, uno splendido Matthew McConaughey, un divino Jared Leto e una bravissima e toccante Jennifer Garner.

This morning I woke up and, as always, I turned on the phone. The first application that I looked was Twitter and the twittering twit who gave me a good morning was: Jared Leto: " Me @McConaughey. Thank you. #Oscars #DallasBuyersClub " I cried. I cried watching the video of the Oscars: Jared looked incredulous, but he is a great actor and the echelons, who follow him like me, know that he is a little fake-modest. But his words, as he thanked the large woman who is his mother and the great man who is his older brother, were true. And they were beautiful words. I'll link the video of the Oscars and I suggest you to watch Dallas Buyers Club: the director has managed to make sliding and very pleasant a film that addresses issues particularly heavy, such as HIV, AIDS, homosexuality in the 80s in Texas. A brilliant Jean-Marc Vallée, a beautiful Matthew McConaughey, a divine Jared Leto and a very talented and touching Jennifer Garner. 

Ad ogni modo, parliamo di Red Carpet.

Io amo, adoro, idolatro quella bellissima matta di Jennifer Lawrence: mi fa ridere solo a guardarle quel musetto rotondo, davvero. Ma un vestito rosso sul Red Carpet ( Christian Dior Couture ) non è stata una gran scelta e ho odiato le linee rigide, con baschine strutturate in vita, che l'hanno invecchiata tantissimo! Jennifer ha ventiquattro anni e sembrava averne trenta, l'unico tocco adorabile è stato la collana portata "all'indietro": so Jennifer style. Mi chiedo: questi geniali stylist, vengono pagati? Posso capire che le "star" non abbiano gusto, ma gli stylist dovrebbero averne e agli Oscar i vestiti rossi non dovrebbero nemmeno metterli nella scelta da presentare al cliente!

Anyway, let's talk about the Red Carpet. I love, adore, idolize the beautiful crazy Jennifer Lawrence. It makes me laugh just to look at her round face, really. But a red dress on the Red Carpet ( Christian Dior Couture ) was not a great choice and I hated the rigid lines, with structured basques: they aged her a lot! Jennifer is twenty-four years old and seemed to have thirty, the only adorable touch necklace flow "backwards": so Jennifer style. I wonder: these brilliant stylist, are they paid? I can understand that the "stars " have no taste, but the stylist should have the Oscars and the red clothes should not even put them in the choice to present to the customer!

Punk: chaos to couture.

Il Punk si ama o si odia, io lo amo.
Mi innamorai di questa subcultura quando, circa tre anni fa, la mia professoressa di Storia della Moda affrontò il fenomeno "Punk" mostrandoci diapositive nell'aula magna della mia università. E che fotografie! Ragazzi dotati di altissime e assai appuntite creste colorate ( ai tempi erte verso il cielo grazie a chili di vinavil, fra l'altro ) stravaccati in angoli spettacolari di città come Londra, Berlino... e poi la musica. Ho comprato un Cd dei Sex Pistols quando avevo quindici anni, non sapevo nemmeno cosa fosse il "Punk", ma quei rumori rozzi, assai poco complessi e molto diretti mi conquistarono. Poi conobbi Vivienne Westwood e l'amore venne coronato dalle divine forme dei suoi abiti e gioielli, ma soprattutto dalla storia che c'è alle spalle di quella donna.
Devo essere sincera: non sono mai stata una secchiona, studiavo per la sufficienza e, durante il periodo dell'adolescenza, non era facile relazionarsi con me, ma maturando sono diventata una vera "divoratrice" di libri e giornali ed è per questo che il mio "fall in love" con la filosofia Punk è stato così ritardatario. Sia chiaro: non condivido ogni virgola del pensiero Punk, tuttavia ne trovo la storia apprezzabile. Quindi, ovviamente, mi ha molto colpita che sia stato scelto come dress code del Met Gala 2013 di un paio di settimane fa e che ha retto alla grande il confronto con gli abiti ( sempre le solite cose ... alcuni inguardabili! ) visti sulla Croisette a Cannes.
Della serie: quando glamour e trasgressione si incontrano!
C'è chi non ne azzecca una ( una bel ripasso di storia non farebbe male a tutti coloro che si sono presentati con ampi abiti in stile rinascimentale ) e chi le azzecca sempre tutte! Come Sarah Jessica Parker - io questa donna la amo - che con la sua cresta da moicana, gli altissimi stivali a trama tartan firmati Louboutin e l'ampio abito Giles Deacon si classifica in cima alla mia top five! 
La adoro, la adoro, la adoro: la regina dell'interpretazione che però mai rinuncia al Sarah Jessica style !

You can love the Punk or you can hate it and I love it.
I fell in love with this subculture when, about three years ago, my History of Fashion's professor faced the phenomenon of "Punk" showing slides in the auditorium of my university. And what photos! Boys with high and very ponty colored crests (in that time thanks to pounds of PVA glue, among other things) slouched in spectacular angles of cities such as London, Berlin ... and then I met the music. I bought a CD of the Sex Pistols when I was fifteen, I did not know what a "Punk" was back then, but those rough sounds, they were not complex at all but still they conquered me straight away. Then I met Vivienne Westwood and my love was crowned by the divine forms of her clothes and jewelry and also by the history that lies behind the woman.
I must be honest: I've never been a nerd, I hated studying and I was not a girl easy to relate to in Punk  but now I am a devourer of books and newspapers, and that's why my "falling in love" with the Punk philosophy has been so tardy.
Let me be clear: I do not share every single point of Punk's way of thinking, however I find their history really appreciable.
And I appreciate that Punk was the dress code of the Met Gala, 2013 - I know, it has already been twelve days, but I come to think things through! By the way, after I've seen those horrendous clothes in Cannes I kind of need to write about those ones in the Met 2013.
So let's talk about it: glamor and transgression all at once!
Some people just didn't make it right (a nice review of history would do no harm to all those who choses to appear with large clothes in Renaissance style), but some people always do their best! Like Sarah Jessica Parker - I love this woman - who appeared with a Mohican crest, Louboutin's tartan-weave high boots and a Giles Deacon's dress... you're on my top five!
I love her, I love her, just love her: the queen of the interpretation which, however, never waiver Sarah Jessica style !

Silhouette morbida: Adele.

Mi è stato chiesto da una follower di creare degli outfit per silhouette snelle ma con fianchi ben marcati e, non preoccuparti Giada, ci sto lavorando ;) Sarà il prossimo post della rubrica!

Ora, però, vorrei occuparmi di una splendida cantante: Adele.

Questa donna, oltre ad avere una voce straordinaria, è a mio avviso bellissima.

Ha un solo, enorme, unico difetto: i suoi stylist - e probabilmente il suo gusto very english.

Avete notato come tendono a infagottarla e a non valorizzare mai la sua figura? La vestono spesso di colori scuri e la poveraccia sembra perennemente in lutto, oltretutto Adele ha 24 anni! Due in meno di me! E per quanto sia già madre e moglie ( credo, forse solo madre ) è comunque una bella e giovane donna, nel fiore della sua età. 

Adele è alta 175 cm, morbida e formosa, non ha un punto vita particolarmente evidente quindi è bene accentuarlo grazie ad abiti dalla forma adatta, è inglese e ha un viso spettacolare!

Per lei, ma anche per voi che avete una silhouette simile alla sua, vi propongo tre outfit: giorno, cocktail, sera.

Back to the "personal shopper" corner!

A follower asked me for creating outfits for slender silhouette but with sides clearly marked, well, don't worry Giada, I'm working on it ;) It will be the next post of the corner!

Now, however, I would like to take care of a wonderful singer: Adele.

This woman, as well as having an extraordinary voice, is in my opinion, beautiful.

She has a single, huge, only flaw: her stylist - and probably her very english taste.

Have you noticed how they tend to swaddling her and not to enhance her figure ever? They often dress her in dark colors and the poor seems perpetually in mourning, moreover Adele is 24! Two years younger than me! And even if she is already a mother and wife (I think, maybe just the mother) is still a beautiful young woman, in the prime of his age.

Adele is 175 cm high, soft and curvy, doesn't have a particularly evident waist so it is good  to accentuate the clothes suitable shape, she's English and her face is spectacular!

For her, but also for you with a similar silhouette, I propose three outfits: day, cocktail, evening.

Uno spettacolo entusiasmante quest'anno al Dolby theater di Los Angeles!

Grandiose nomination, spettacolari esibizioni, simpaticissimi presentatori, vincitori eccellenti.

Sono rimasta entusiasta per le decisioni della giuria - stranamente - e le mise di quest'anno sono state per lo più esemplari! Ovviamente sono sempre esistiti ed esisteranno sempre gli "strafalcioni fashion", tuttavia il glam e il buon gusto quest'anno hanno fatto da padroni, ecco i miei preferiti!

A really rousing show this year at Dolby theater in Los Angeles!

Amazing nomination, spectacular performances, funny announcers, superb winners.

I'm quite impressed - strangely - about jury decisions and, this year, was plenty of excellent mise! Obviously always exist "fashion howlers", however this year glamour and good taste were the real protagonist, here you are my favorites!

Elegantissima Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani: la parola d'ordine per quest'anno doveva essere "luccicare, luccicare!" e le star non si sono fatte pregare. Splendido taglio, divina scollatura, mi è piaciuto tutto. Versace per Halle Berry, semplicemente spettacolare: ha osato con l'abito, è stata sobria con gli accessori e il taglio corto ha dato un tocco chic in più - oltretutto io l'ho sempre amata coi capelli corti. Menzione d'onore a un elegantissimo Channing Tatum - lunghezza del pantalone perfetta! Let's go Chan <3 - che con la sua esibizione insieme a Charlize Theron sulle note di Way You Look Tonight, mi ha fatta commuovere. Congratulazioni a lui e alla deliziosa mogliettina Jenna Dewan per il primo pupo in arrivo! Non vedo l'ora di vederlo. Oscar alla coppia più incinta della serata <3

Really graceful Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani: key word this year was " sparkle, sparkle! " and stars didn't need to be persuaded. The cut of the dress was gorgeous, the neckline divine, i loved everything. Halle Berry in Versace, simply amazing: she hazarded with the dress and she was simple with the accessorizes, also the short haircut made her even more fashionable - by the way I always loved her with short hair. Honorable mention goes to a really charming Channing Tatum - the lenght of the trousers was perfect! Go Chan <3 - that with his esibition with Charlize Theron on the tune of Way you Look Tonight, really touched me.

Congratulations for him and his cute wife Jenna Dewan for the baby! I can't wait for him!

Silhouette a clessidra: Dita Von Teese.

Inauguro la rubrica "Personal Shopper", intitolata così in quanto vi presenterò i lavori che creo ( in collaborazione, solitamente, con uno o due compagni! I computer scarseggiano! ) e penso che proseguirò anche quando finirò il corso: mi diverto molto a vestire donne diverse, a creare e elaborare look sempre nuovi e unici!

E' molto importante saper valorizzare il proprio corpo con gli abiti, non solo con le forme ma anche con i colori. Studiare le silhouette, la propria silhouette, la propria carnagione, scegliere bene il make up, non esagerare mai! Perché il troppo stroppia, ricordatevelo ragazze: se siete in dubbio, meno è meglio, l'effetto albero di natale è sconsigliato!

Anyway, uno dei compiti che mi è stato dato la settimana scorsa, dopo aver studiato i tipi base di silhouette della donna ( a triangolo, a clessidra, a triangolo invertito, a mela, a rettangolo ) è stato di sceglierne una e creare degli outfit giorno, cocktail e sera.

Bhè, mi è immediatamente venuta in mente Dita Von Teese, regina di burlesque e portatrice sana di silhouette a clessidra; carnagione diafana, zazzera bruna e occhi azzurrissimi, Miss Von Teese è una donna stupenda, bassa e con un seno che dovrebbe essere dotato di codice di avviamento postale proprio. Ho studiato un po' la mia "cliente immaginaria" prima di costruire i suoi outfit: mi sono fatta un'idea dei suoi gusti, dei posti che frequenta, eccetera e quindi mi sono messa al lavoro!

I open the “Personal Shopper” section, so called because I will introduce you my personal works (usually in cooperation with some of my mates! There’s not enough computers) and I think I’ll keep doing it event after the end of this class: I have fun clothing different women, creating and elaborating look always different and unique.

It’s very important t give our body the right value with clothes not only through shapes but also through colors. Analyze the silhouettes, our own silhouette, our skin shade, choose the makeup, never overdo! Too much of a good thing can get you sick; remember, ladies: when in doubt, the lesse, the better, no one likes the Christmas tree look!

Anyway, one of my assignment for last week, after we studied the basic woman kinds of silhouette (triangle, hourglass, inverted triangle, apple, rectangle) was to choose one and create some outfits for day, night and cocktail party.

Well, my first thought was Dita Von Teese, burlesque queen and immune carrier of hourglass silhouette; diaphanous skin shade, brunette mop and insanely azure eyes, miss Von Teese is an amazing woman, short and with a breast which should have its personal zip code. I studied my imaginary customer for a while before creating her outfits: I tried to understand her tastes, the places she goes to and so on, then I focused on my work!

Primo outfit, giorno: camicetta smanicata con rouches romantiche color corallo, profili e bottoncini neri. Gonna a tubo a vita alta nera e beige che scende dritta, per non accentuare troppo i fianchi formosi, cintura bustier importante per sottolineare lo stupendo vitino da vespa. Decollete color corallo, maxi bag da giorno beige con dettagli in pelle nera e maxi cappello da diva, perchè Dita è una diva.
Secondo outfit, cocktail: pantapalazzo a vita alta nero abbinato a una giacchina svasata senza collo, lisci i profili dato che il bustino cangiante viola con profili neri e dettagli dorati è l'elemento di spicco dell'outfit e non deve essere messo in secondo piano o nascosto. Jasmine di Westwood in tartan e decollete viola con plateau dorato che richiama non solo i dettagli di alcuni elementi, ma soprattutto gli occhiali Dior con lenti scure: such a very chic lady.
Terzo outfit, sera: abito di Westwood effetto wrap, bustino incorporato anch'esso volto a sottolineare la vita sottile. Niente gioielli, le decollete open toe dorate e borchiate sono gioielli da calzare, abbinate a un'ironica pochette rigida a forma di bocca. 

First outfit, day: sleeveless blouse with coral romantiche rouches, black bottons and outlines. Piped high hips skirt in black and beige, it goes down straight so it doesn’t put in evidence the shapely hips, bustier belt, important to highlight the thin hips. Coral décolleté, day beige maxi bag with black leather details and maxi hat diva style, because that’s what she is.

Second outfit, cocktail: palazzo pants, high hips, matched with a flared jacked with no neck, straight outlines since the purple shimmering corselet with black outlines and gold details is the highlight of this outfit and shouldn’t be outshined or hidden. Westwood’s Jasmine in tartan and purple décolleté with gold plateau recalling not only some element’s detail, but most of all the Dior glasses with dark lens: such a very chic lady.

Third outfit:, night: Westwood dress with wrap effect, incorporated corselet, always to highlight the hips. No jewels, the open toe gold studded décolleté are wearing jewels, matched with an ironic solid mouth shaped clutch.
