Grasse, ville du parfum ~

Ritornare al solito ritmo è stato più impegnativo del previsto.
Sistemare una montagna di foto mi ha fatto venire una nostalgia incredibile, ma sono pronta per condividerle con voi e mostrarvi luoghi suggestivi e magici - letteralmente;
una mattina abbiamo preso la macchina e siamo partiti per le montagne provenzali: la natura intorno a noi era quasi soffocante, ma sicuramente stupenda. Dopo un'oretta o poco più di tornanti e gran salite abbiamo raggiunto Grasse, un comune di poco più di 50.000 mila anime situato sulle alpi marittime della P.A.C.A. ( Provenza, Alpi, Costa Azzurra ).
Per chi è un appassionato di parfumerié, non dovrò certo essere io a dire che Grasse è considerata la capitale mondiale del profumo e ospita infatti le migliori fabbriche mondiali - io amo le fragranze di Fragonard, ma ve ne parlerò in un altro post!
Grasse è un'incantevole cittadina medioevale che offre di favolose terrazze panoramiche, splendidi monumenti e vicoletti tipici che profumano di pane appena sfornato e gigli. Qui si respira la vera Francia.




Coming back to usual pace was more challenging than expected.
Placing a mountain of photos made me an incredible nostalgia, but I'm ready to share them with you and show you beautiful and magical places- literally;
one morning we took the car and went to the mountains of Provence: the nature around us was almost suffocating, definitely gorgeous. After an hour or so of switchbacks and great climbs we reached Grasse  a town of just over 50 million souls located on the Maritime Alps of P.A.C.A. (Provence, Alpes, Côte d'Azur).
For anyone who is a Parfumerie fan, I will certainly not be the one to say that Grasse is considered the world capital of perfume, and it hosts the best factories in the world - I love the fragrances of Fragonard  but I'll get in another post!
Grasse is a charming medieval town that offers fabulous panoramic terraces, splendid monuments, narrow streets and typical smell of freshly baked bread and lilies. Here you can feel the real France.
