Studs gilet ~ Madeitmyself!

Lo so, potrei sembrare monotona ma non potevo non mostrarvi il mio giacchino di jeans azzurro borchiato! Anche perché l'ho fatto io.

A volte capita di passeggiare e di inciampare in un outlet. Capita che in suddetto outlet trovi un micro gilét di jeans azzurro che avresti sempre voluto, solo che l'avresti sempre voluto con le borchie sui taschini o sulle spalline. Giri il cartellino del prezzo e leggi: 10€. Sei in cassa ed hai già il gilét dentro un sacchetto. Capita anche di inciampare in un negozio che vende borchie all'ingrosso, di ogni genere, forma  e colore e capita quindi che ti renda conto che gilét + borchie = capo che avresti sempre voluto!

Philip Plein s/s 13 - Love him!

Ho visto in questi giorni diverse fotografie delle mie colleghe Blogger che hanno avuto la fortuna di assistere alla sfilata di Philip Plein e la sfilata mi è piaciuta.
Oggi l'ho vista tutta e me ne sono innamorata.
Borchie, pelle, stampe floreali in stile rock 'n roll - come abbia fatto, non so, un genio. Lo amo.
Che le borchie siano state un must have estivo e che si stiano riconfermando per l'inverno è ormai lampante, io sinceramente le porto da quando andavo al Liceo Artistico: piccola mara quindicenne col suo polsino di pelle nero borchiato e la collana di spuntoni. Stile "metallara", starete pensando: in realtà no, semplicemente le amavo già. Ora che tutto è una borchia immaginate la mia felicità e la sfilata di Philip Plein è stata un TRIONFO di borchie. 
Le linee delle giacche, delle pantaloni, gli abiti da sera … uno spettacolo.
Vogliamo parlare di scarpe e bijou? Passatemi il termine: avevo la bava alla bocca.

On these days I saw several shoot from my collegues Bloggers who had the fortune to see the fashion show by Philip Plein and I really liked it.

Today I saw it all and I fell in love with it.

Studs, leather, flower prints in rock 0n roll style – don’t ask how could he do this, I don’t know, he’s a genius. I love him.

It’s obvious by now that studs were a summer must-have and they are confirmed to be for the winter, I honestly wear them since I was in high school: little fifteen Mara with her black leather wristband with studs and spike necklace. “Metalhead style”, I bet you’re thinking: actually no, I just already loved them. Try and  picture my happiness now that everything comes with studs on it, and Philip Plein show was a triumph of studs.

The lines of the jackets, pants and full dresses… spectacular.

Elizabeth Arden Make up experience

Ho appena vissuto un'esperienza unica e ci tenevo davvero a fare il più presto possibile il post inerente.

Sono stata invitata a La Rinascente di Milano da Elizabeth Arden per usufruire di un make up personalizzato creato con la collezione autunno inverno.

Che dire? Magico. Mi hanno coccolata sin dall'arrivo grazie alla zona relax dove era allestito un banchetto a base di tisane fresche e pasticcini quindi, dopo qualche minuto in cui mi sono ripresa dalla scarpinata fatta per arrivare in tempo all'appuntamento, Yves ( je t'aime! ) ha iniziato a truccarmi. E lusingarmi.

Il make up artist, dope avermi fatto una base davvero splendid e leggerissima, sembra proprio di non averla addosso, ha eseguito uno splendido smokey eyes utilizzando una matita grigio scuro dalla consistenza molto polverosa per poter sfumare al meglio, un ombretto nero ed uno bianco / oro ( è spettacolare! Ve lo consiglio assolutamente! ) nonché, in fine, eye-liner nero e mascara.

La bocca, poi, è stato il tocco di classe: non mi sono mai truccata così tanto le labbra e ammetto che il risultato finale mi ha stupita e deliziata! Per il contorno labbra Yves ha utilizzato la matita labbra Smooth Line numero 08, Raisin, ha riempito poi con il Lipstick Color Intrigue Effects numero 23, Sweet Blush Sheer ed ha concluso dando un tocco di luce col Lip Gloss High Shine numero 18, Rosegold. 

Che ne pensate dell'effetto finale?

A me piace davvero molto, infatti l'ho sfoggiato per il resto del pomeriggio ed al ristorante ed è stato davvero un piacere, mi sentivo benissimo!

Chiuderò il post con un ringraziamento a tutto lo Staff Elizabeth Arden de La Rinascente, in particolare a Yves e vi lascio col celebre motto pronunciato da Miss Arden in persona: 

“ogni donna ha il diritto di essere bella”.

I just had an unique experience and I really wanted to upload the post as soon as possible.

I was invited to “La Rinascente” in Milan from Elizabeth Arden to prove a personal make up created using the Autumn/Winter collection.

What can I say? Magic. They cuddled me from the very beginning tank to the relax zone where they put up a feast with fresh herbal teas and cakes then, a few minutes after I got over the walk I made to get there on time, Yves (je t’aime!) has started to make me up. And to flatter me.

The makeup artist, after making a really splendid and soft bottom, really doesn’t feel like you have it on, made an amazing smoky eyes using a dark grey pencil with a dusty consistency so it could shade better; a black eye shadow and a white/golden one (it’s spectacular! I really suggest you to try it!) and in the and black eye-liner and mascara.

The mouth was, though, the extra touch: I never put so much make up on my lips and I admit that the final result really surprised and delighted me! For the outline Yves used the Lip pencil Sooth Line number 08, Raisin, then he filled with the Lipstick Color Intrigue Effects number 23, Sweet Blush Sheer and finished giving a shiny touch with the Lip Gloss High Shine number 18. Rosegold.

What do you think of the final effect?

I really like it, I actually showed it for the rest of the evening and at the restaurant and it was a true pleasure, I felt so good!

I’ll close this entry by giving my thanks to the whole Elizabeth Arden Staff at “La Rinascente”, especially to Yves, and I leave you with the famous slogan spoken by miss Arden herself:

 “to be beautiful is the birth right of every woman”.

So Critical So Fashion

Questa mattina ho partecipato all'evento "So Critical So Fashion" nella prestigiosa location di Frigoriferi Milanesi che ha ospitato 51 realtà selezionate, nel panorama nazionale ed internazionale, di moda critica e indipendente.

Giunto alla sua terza edizione, l'evento si conferma come l'appuntamento di riferimento della moda etica durante la Fashion Week milanese. Tre giorni di eventi, incontri e workshop - oggi c'era il Knight Lab, un insieme di tantissime persone intente a sferruzzare! Grandioso!

So Critical So Fashion ha come leit motiv nell'edizione 2012 recupero, riutilizzo, ricreazione ma non per questo c'è da sottovalutare il lato artistico di studio del dettaglio e, ovviamente, design: progettazione di nuove forme, modelli, ricerca di tessuti e nuovi materiali sono alla base del lavoro degli artisti che hanno esposto le creazione P/E 2013 nei corner messi a loro disposizione.

Personalmente mi sono molto divertita ad osservare le varie creazioni ed a fotografarle: non tutto era di mio gusto, ovvio, ma è impossibile che ogni pezzo possa piacere a chiunque. Mi ha deliziato la fantasia nell'utilizzo di alcuni materiali di recupero, bhè, lascerò che le fotografie che ho scattato parlino per me!

Non perdetevi l'anno prossimo l'edizione 2013, ne vale proprio la pena!

This morning I took part to the "So Critical So Fashion" event in the prestigious location of Frigoriferi Milanesi which hosted 51 selected realities, in the national and international survey, of indipendent and critical fashion.

After reaching its third edition, the event is confirmed to be the meeting of reference of ethical fashion in the Milan Fashio Week. Three days of events, meetings and workshops - today there was the Knight Lab, a set of many people buisy kniting! Awesome!

"So Critical So Fashion" 2012 edition's leitmotiv is recovery, reuse, recreation, but you don't have to understemate teh artistic side of detail study and, obviously, design: new shapes planning, models, search for tissues and new matherials lie at the bottom of the work of the artists who exposed their creations S/S 2013 in the provided  corners.

Personally I had a really good time observing the different creations and taking shoots: not everything was to my taste, but it's impossible to like every single piece. I was delighted by the fantasy in using some recyclable materials, well, I'll let the shoots talk for me.

Don't miss next year's edition, it's really worth it.
