Un arcipelago di nove isole nel Mar di Marmara che furono luogo di esilio per i principi di Bisanzio e che oggi sono gli "Hamptons" degli abitanti benestanti di Istanbul. Non scherzo quando dico che andrei a viverci: qui le uniche macchine esistenti sono quelle delle forze dell'ordine, esistono un paio di furgoncini per i lavori che prevedono carichi pesanti e basta.
Basta. Ci si muove a cavallo o in bicicletta, gli animali pascolano liberi per le radure e i cani e i gatti giocano fra loro sul lungo mare.
Con un buon modem e un bel cavallo, penso proprio che mi ci trasferirei in pianta stabile!
The third day i went to an earthly paradise ( at least for me ): Princes Island.
An archipelago of nine island in Marmara Sea where Princes of Byzantium where exiled but, now, they are like the "Hamptons" for Istanbul upper-class.
I'd love to move to that place: the only cars that you can see are the ones of the police or some small truck for heavy works. And Stop.
You can move riding horses or taking bycicles, animals are left free and dogs and cats play togheter on the seaside.
With a good internet connection and an horse, i think i will move to that place forever.
